We have been in our new building for about 1 year now and it has come along very nicely. Piece by piece God has provided, without creating ANY DEBT everything we have needed and more.
When we moved into our new building at was....well.....unfinished at best. We had a bare and dirty concrete floor, no stage, no carpet, no door frames or doors installed in our sanctuary.
Many awesome men and women of God have volunteered and worked many long hours painting, hanging doors, putting in carpet, building the stage (and re-building the steps area when it was realized it needed redesigning) and so much more.
On top of all the construction that was being done we also had to move the sound system from the old location and install all of that as well.
Now here is where the Praise Reports begin.
The doors were donated along with the labor to install them.
The carpet was purchased with church funds but the labor was donated
The sound system was less than adequate for the new sanctuary and actually designed for portable use. Almost immediately another ministry was interested in purchasing the entire system. What followed is a set of circumstances which can only be God's doing, we were able to get a Professional Quality mixing board, and large venue Speaker system normally valued at close to double the sale price of the old. Isn’t God awesome?
BUT it's not over yet. A staff member, who had previously moved to NY to see to his sickly sister after his mother’s death, had no room to take with him, all of the Pro Sound gear he had been using for years. He also had nowhere to store it either. So he gave it away to a friend rather than leave it for strangers to pick through. and 2 years later after returning to Tennessee he gets a text message "Come pick up all of this sound stuff and donate it to your church"
That gear consists of two very high end 3-way PA speakers 2 floor wedge's a powered mixing board and a large array of replacement speakers should any of them fail for any reason.
This gear has completely changed the sound quality and took worship to a completely new level of clarity and quality. WOW!! THANK YOU JESUS!!
ALSO at that very same time we were able to install and setup Pastor Will's recording studio gear so we now can do Live Mulch-track recording of both Worship and the Sermons every Sunday Morning and the hope is to have the sermons available ONLINE by Sunday night every week.
