The POINTEMEN met again this morning at Karl's Restaurant in Hixson, TN and had an awesome time of food, fellowship and fun.

This ministry was the topic of discussion and many different points were discussed some of which was

Rick Johnston has been paramount in putting all of this together so the next time you see him, ask him what you can do to help. As this ministry grows so does the need to shoulder more responsability so pitch in and help him to carry the weight, that way the load is lighter for all.

The Pointemen Ministries Men’s Prayer Breakfast

The Men of Pointemen Ministries got together this morning for thier  very first "Men’s Prayer Breakfast".

Lots of prayer, fellowship, food and ministry-brainstorming ensued as we gathered at Karl’s Family Restaurant  in Hixson.

Gods anointing was on this get together right from the begining as 17 Men (and "soon-to-be" men) showed up and poured out their hearts about what it means to be a "Real Man" in God's eyes, what He desires and expects from us as "Men of God" in our jobs, our homes, at play, at church, and in ministry. And in case you diddnt realize it, we have some awesome men of God in Chattanooga and its amazing to see them getting together in one accord.  

Oh yeah, we also talked about some really cool ideas for outings as well. After all,....boys will be boys right?
 
Many great ideas and opportunities to minister to our families, our community and of course our churches were discussed and soon we may say some come to fruition. 

An added blessing was to see that Pointemen are not just from HPC but of other local churches as well. It was an awesome time for inter-church relationship building as well because our God is not limited to the walls we sit between on Sunday mornings!  

Additionaly, we were treated to a great lesson from Pastor Butch about how we as men need to be more like David and his "Mighty Men of Valor". Thanks Butch! You make us all feel like grabbing swords and going after those Philistines!  Those Philistines are those things that exalt themselves against the plans of greatness and fruitfulness God has for us.
 
We can’t wait to see what God has in store the Pointemen" so if you’re a man, and haven’t made it to one of our gatherings, make it a “pointe” to try for the next one. We are looking forward to seeing you there and until then, be blessed
